Learning golf is a process, not a destination and it's vital to keep young players in the learning loop long enough to develop the necessary swing techniques and skills required to play the game. The only way to do this is to have a programme that entertains, engages and capitvates the young students, so they love to learn and golf soon becomes one of their sporting passions.

The Bitesize Golf Academy is a complete learning environment where all the critical elements come together, fun lessons, first class coaching and ideal facilities such as a driving range and access to the course. Pupils learn and develop through a series of progressive levels, which include all of the following components...

• Tuition on swing technique
• Learning how to play all the various strokes, like driving, iron play, chipping, pitching and putting
• Challenges aimed at playing under focussed conditions and stretching ability
• Quizzes to give feedback on how much of the game is being understood
• Fun games for task-focussed learning
• Drills and skills to develop key motor skills
• Resource books covering the swing, etiquette, rules of the game, course management, diet and fitness and much more.
• Certificates recognising graduation to the next level
• Reports giving valuable feedback and a motivational message

Classes run throughout the year and spaces need to be booked in advanced, they run for 6 weeks and whenever possible keep between school term times, with mid-term and hoiday events an optional extra.
